How to use Lens: Country cuts spend by territory, Age & gender by Meta's three age buckets (18-34 · 35-54 · 55+) × gender. Meta reports the two as separate marginals of the same spend — there is no country × age × gender number — so the page shows one at a time: the whole screen follows the lens, Territory is hidden under Age & gender, and the matrix offers Age bucket and Gender there instead. Click a day in the grid, a dot in the scatter or a bar in the timeline — the whole page focuses on it; the chip (or a second click) releases it. Timeline: pick one metric for bars on its own axis, or several for lines indexed 0–100% of each metric’s range in the period (read direction, not level); grain is in its header — Day works for ranges up to 6 months (185 days); past that the chip is muted, Auto picks Week or Month, and a Day choice falls back to Auto. Matrix: rows nest in the order you tick them (e.g. Day › Category › Territory) — click a row to expand it; add metrics and extra years (same weekdays, 364 days back); click a header to sort; Full screen and Hide fields give the table the whole screen. Contribution profit = new-customer gross profit + $15 × new customers − spend. $15 = PRP, a flat placeholder assumption — not yet ruled for brume (packages/acquisition.yml). New customers is a distinct count. By category it means new customers whose first order contains that category (as in Power BI): an order with two categories sits in both rows, so category rows can add up to more than the Total. On the Country lens the Total is always the true count; on Age & gender the orders side is published by category only, so every number there — Total included — is that overlapping sum. Spend is exact on both.
